The Gympie Clinic has new owners

2018 has been a year of change for The Gympie Clinic with the biggest being the change of ownership of the clinic. We would like to introduce you, officially, to The Gympie Clinic’s new owners: Dr Matthias and Lauren Ranaweera.

Dr Matthias (Mat) has been at The Gympie Clinic for almost 2 years now and is our practice principal Doctor. He enjoys being able to offer quality, evidence-based healthcare to the Gympie community and leading a team of fantastic Doctors, Nurses and support staff. He will continue to offer his services 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs) while working in The Sunshine Coast University Hospital on Fridays.

Lauren will be working part-time with the administration and reception teams and behind the scenes to improve the clinic and make your visit more comfortable and efficient.

The Ranaweera’s live on the Sunshine Coast after moving from Brisbane in 2015. They enjoy spending their free time on the beach, in the garden and pool and travelling. Much of their time though is spent chasing after and raising their two very energetic young daughters.
